How did you get your start in the industry? Acquired Midland Auto Recovery in mid-2005.
What is your career highlight so far? Getting to know many different people from all around the country involved in this industry in one capacity or another.
Which industry professional do you admire most? So many to list. Joe Taylor comes to mind as his working knowledge of the industry is very extensive.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else? Hard to say because I don’t know exactly what everyone else does. However, striving to help our team offer the best product and provide the highest quality of service in the markets the company serves.
What do you like most about this industry? A new challenge and situation almost daily. Just when you think you have seen and heard it all, there is always a new experience – everyday.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry? The expectations that each and all of the services professional recovery firms offer and provide are not without a cost in order to be fair and profitable and owners that realize the same.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing? Probably some sort of sales-related position.
Describe a typical work day. Typically at the office working with our team, helping when needed and running day to day operations.
What is your guilty pleasure? Enjoy working out daily, watching and going to sporting events when possible with family and or friends.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Always try to sleep on the big decisions, sometimes it is difficult but most times they typically look different in the morning.
What are you currently reading? “Man in the Mirror” by Patrick Morley
What is one fact you’d like everyone in the industry to know about you? I’m always open to better ideas and ways of doing things — just make it good ones.
