  • What was already a grim week for repossession agents turned tragic yesterday, when Elwood Humphries was shot and killed while trying to repossess a vehicle. Police have arrested Anton Robinson and charged him with first-degree homicide.



  • A man who was behind on his loan payments didn’t question when a tow truck showed up and took away his vehicle. Except that when the man called the lender, he was told that the vehicle was not assigned to be repossessed.
